This April, Esther heads to Shanghai, China for the inaugural program of the Z+ International Chamber Music Festival. The Festival, founded by Yoo’s longtime collaborator Chinese-American pianist Zee Zee, opens on April 12 and features eight concerts held across the Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall and the Blackstone M+ Tri Space.
Esther will perform Brahms Piano Trio No. 1 in B major, Op. 8 and Dvořák’s Piano Trio No. 3 in F minor, Op. 65 with cellist Andrei Ionițǎ, pianist Louis Schwizgebel, and Artistic Director Zee Zee on April 19. Two nights later for the Grand Finale concert on April 21, Zee Zee and Esther perform alongside cellist Andrei Ionițǎ, violist Lise Berthaud and musicians of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra in a program featuring Spohr’s Septet in A minor, Op. 147 and Brahms String Sextet No. 2 in G major, Op. 36.
