On March 15, Esther appeared on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ radio show with host Sean Rafferty, where she discussed performing the world premiere of Raymond Yiu’s Violin Concerto.
Esther will premiere the work with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and conductor Clemens Schuldt at the Barbican Hall on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. She sat down with Rafferty to share her relationship with the piece and the process of working with Yiu on this new commission.
