ZEN Trio

Zhang Zuo (Zee Zee), Esther Yoo and Narek Hakhnazaryan performed music by Brahms, Babajanian and Dvořák, which they recorded together for Deutsche Grammophon. Their program also included a world premiere of a new commission by Australian composer Matt Laing.

As individual artists, each of the three was magnificent. As a trio they were transcendent.”

The tour took the trio to Dubbo, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide and Newcastle, where they had the opportunity to participate in outreach events in addition to their performances.
