On November 6, Esther Yoo returned to London’s Wigmore Hall for a recital with pianist Jae Hong Park. The program included works by Debussy, Grieg, Rachmaninov, and Vieuxtemps. Reviewing the recital for MusicOMH, critic Sam Smith wrote: “When violinist Esther Yoo teamed up with pianist Jae Hong Park it clicked from the very start. That is the only conclusion that could ever be drawn from witnessing their first concert together in the United Kingdom, which quite simply made for an hour of perfection.”
As MusicOMH put it, “The concert lasted a lunchtime, the memory will last a lifetime.”
Yoo and Park return to Wigmore Hall on July 3. For details on the upcoming program, visit Onstage.
