This February, Esther Yoo makes her New York Philharmonic debut (Feb. 8-13). Esther is the soloist in Bernstein’s Serenade, a concerto-like work inspired by speeches on the nature of love in Plato’s Symposium. The program is conducted by Santtu-Matias Rouvali and also includes Strauss’s An Alpine Symphony.
