Pianist Chad Lawson’s album breathe, which was released on Decca Records on September 23 and features Esther Yoo on violin, reached No. 1 on the iTunes Classical Chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Classical Chart. Esther is featured on two tracks: “fields of forever” and “for such a gaze of wonder.” 

Lawson describes “fields of forever” as “an invitation to enjoy the process, instead of focusing on the destination. It’s the stops along the journey that add up, nudging us to appreciate the little things that make life worth living.”

As for “for such a gaze of wonder,” Lawson was inspired by how looking up at the stars can remind us of the infinite possibilities that exist, and help us to appreciate the beauty of our own world.
