Esther Yoo gave a press conference in Seoul on the release date of her album with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Director Vasily Petrenko. Released on January 26 on Deutsche Grammophon, the album includes two iconic concertos: Bruch’s Violin Concerto in G minor and Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto. Also on the album is Bruch’s Adagio Appassionato and Vieuxtemps’ Souvenir d’Amerique, Op.17 “Yankee Doodle”. At the conference, Esther discussed the pandemic’s impact on her musical career and personal growth, and the significance of the album’s music on her artistic journey.
