Esther performs first concerts as Artist in Residence of Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Esther Yoo performs her first concerts as Artist in Residence of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in May, returning to the UK to share the Sibelius and Glazunov violin concertos.

On May 2, Esther takes the stage at Cadogan Hall in London for the Sibelius Violin Concerto under the baton of MichaƂ Nesterowicz. They also perform the concerto on May 3 at G Live Guildford.

Esther makes her return to Cambridge for another performance as part of her Cambridge Corn Exchange artist residency, interpreting Glazunov’s Violin Concerto with Nesterowicz and the RPO on May 5.

“I have such great memories of performing at the Cambridge Corn Exchange alongside the Philharmonia Orchestra and Maestro Vladimir Ashkenazy,” says Esther. “I am very excited to return in May 2018 as Artist-in-Residence of both the venue and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, with whom I will be performing a concerto that is very special to me, the Glazunov Violin Concerto, which I also recorded for my debut album.”
